It's forty five minutes from our guest house to the Big Oak Flat Entrance of Yosemite National Park. We love the panoramic views that can be seen from Hwy 132 and Hwy 120 on the way to Yosemite. Plan to visit Hetch Hetchy which John Muir described as more beautiful than Yosemite Valley. A short 5 to 10 minute drive from the Hide Away you can spend a relaxing day of fishing, swimming, skiing, and boating on two lakes. Or drive 15 to 35 minutes to tour the historic gold rush towns of Coulterville, Jamestown, Sonora, and Columbia. Our rustic cabin is located on a large, private cattle ranch and captures the Western spirit and style of the Gold Country. Although the cabin feels remote, it is closely situated to Groveland (less than 5 miles) and Yosemite National Park (first gate less than 30 miles). One can hike and explore the ranch for miles in all directions. The flora and fauna are beautiful! It is a charming, picturesque, romantic, and tranquil space for couples and solo travelers to unwind from life's daily stresses and great outdoor adventures. The cabin was once a hunting and mining cabin and was relocated next to an old sluiceway utilized for gold mining. The small cabin measures about 330 sq. ft. and includes a new bathroom and well-supplied kitchen (i.e., kitchenware). It has a spacious wrap-around front porch and side deck. A rustic, Western-style outdoor kitchen for barbecues is located behind the cabin with a bar area. Situated on the deck are chairs and a table with umbrella for outdoor dining, as well as a Weber gas grill. You can explore any place on the ranch. The ridge visible to the right of the cabin when looking at the front porch, is a special place to view spectacular sunsets over the Central Valley. We enjoy the food there in the country club and reasonable prices. also there are many things to do around the area , hiking , walks in the morning, tennis, lake, golf etc. Grocery store just two miles. Cabin has a very nice deck , overlooking the ,Mountain very relaxing setup. We enjoy sitting in the living room and looking outside with those big windows , its so relaxing. Groveland Groveland is a very nice small town , Its has very nice market for groceries , has eating places , if you want Pizza or Chinese food or just coffee . Has very nice bars for a small drink. Pine mountain lake has a restaurant called Grill in the country club as well and Grill is just 5 minutes drive from the cabin.

This adorable renovated historic cottage has a large outdoor dining deck on Groveland Creek, a stroll away from downtown. You are literally a walking distance away from everything Groveland has to offer. Within a few blocks you can find, restaurants, bars, coffee shop, gallery, library, store, postal office, meat market, playground and all this is only 25 miles from Yosemite. Next door to the house is Mountain Sage cafe, gallery and gardens where you can enjoy an outdoor concert/workshop and meet locals.

Our vacation home has adequate space at 1,714 sq ft and is equipped with all the necessary amenities. Plus we have both a custom billiard table and an upscale ping pong table. We are located in Groveland at the Pine Mountain Lake gated resort community. This is not a cabin or old A-frame. This is a modern two bedroom, two bathroom home built in 1988 with central air-conditioning and heat. Modern appliances and furnishings include a washer, dryer, dishwasher, Weber barbecue grill, microwave, DVD, VHS VCR, DirecTV. Please bring or purchase your own laundry detergent. Our detergent is for our local housekeeper to wash linens. Home is located about two blocks from seventh hole of golf course. Play golf, swim, tennis, horseback ride, visit Yosemite; there are plenty of activities. The person responsible should be at least 25+ years old. You will sleep in comfort at our house! One king in master bedroom, one queen in second bedroom. Game room: New Bunk Beds (2), fold down Double size futon and Queen mattress in downstairs game room. There is also a sofa upstairs that you can sleep on if necessary. We now offer guests use of two TVs both on DIRECT TV, both with 55" screens. Please NO party animals. Enjoy, but enjoy responsibly. This is not run down rental property, but our personal vacation home. No smoking please. We recommend you email us your preferred sleeping arrangements in advance so our housekeeper can cater to your needs. This is a gated community, so you MUST enter through the Pine Mountain Lake Association (PMLA) Main Gate in order to reach house, which is located at 18992 Jimmie Bell St. in Groveland. Within the PML community it is also known as Unit 7 lot 170. PMLA charges all renters $40 per vehicle to enter the gated community. Each fee paid is good for up to 8 days. Wildfire Considerations: We recommend travelers purchase travel insurance if they are concerned about fires during the peak fire season of roughly July 1 - October 15. In cases where CA state issues an evacuation order for Groveland, CA for any reason, 100% of all rental fees will be refunded. During 2018, we refunded 50% in rental fees due to the Ferguson Fire when the air quality in the local, Groveland area was considered borderline unhealthy. However, this policy does not apply to fires in further away places like the 1200 square miles of Yosemite National Park where the air quality in Groveland is not impacted or marginally impacted. During 2013, we refunded 100% in rental fees due to the Rim Fire which which was much closer to our Groveland home than 2018’s Ferguson Fire. We want to be fair to all guests, but all fires are not the same. As such, we reserve the right to assess a fire’s impact on the local area and compensate guests appropriately. PMLA FEES: Pine Mountain Lake Association charges a $40 fee to ALL renters entering the community. Under the rules, you must check in with the guard at the main gate on Pine Mountain Lake Drive and state that you are renting our home. The gate is always open 24X7. Other roads like Mueller have card access only barriers which are only accessible by home owners. The guards are helpful and will even give you a map or directions upon request, but they also will charge you the $40 fee, good for the duration of your stay or up to 8 days. We ask for your understanding in this matter. Home owners also pay such fees, but much larger ones, approximately $2,600 per home each year. These fees help maintain the PMLA system of private roads, beaches, pool and other facilities. Rules & Restrictions: NO SMOKING inside the house. If smoking outside, please pick up all cigarette butts. Our housekeepers do not clean outside the house. BBQ must only be used on the back concrete patio and never in hazardous areas like our wooden balcony. Kitchen: Housekeepers do NOT clean dishes, pots and pans or counter surfaces. Please clean the kitchen to at least the same level of cleanliness as you found upon entering the premises. Game room: The billiard table is for adult use only. Children may play ping pong. Do not move the pool table. Do not attempt to fold up the ping pong table. It is okay for a minimum of two adults to carefully slide the ping pong table a few feet to one side, but please put it back before leaving. Wood Stove: Please use extreme caution and obey any posted signs regarding the wood stove. You CANNOT park in the street. PMLA will give you a ticket. Please park your cars in our driveway or behind our house. You cannot park in our garage. By renting from us you agree to obey all local Pine Mountain Lake Association (PMLA) rules. Too many renters apparently don’t read signs or don’t care and fill our bins with trash and dirty diapers. Sorry but it’s too much of a burden for a couple of retirees.

Lower level has two bed rooms, has one queen and twin bed. The patio deck overlooks the backyard, and has deck furniture and a propane BBQ for your out door entertainment. Just walk in distance to the pine mountain lake. Groveland CA is a nice historical town. The area has many activities and has many things for a small town. There is a nice lake and very nice beaches too. Area also has a country club In the Pine Mountain Lake. We enjoy the food there in the country club and reasonable prices. also there are many things to do around the area , hiking , walks in the morning, tennis, lake, golf etc. Grocery store just two miles. Cabin has a very nice deck , overlooking the ,Mountain very relaxing setup. We enjoy sitting in the living room and looking outside with those big windows , its so relaxing. Deer and wild birds and sometimes wild turkey we see them just crossing roads every now and then. Its an amazing the feeling how beautiful the nature is... You see Deer , wild turkey sometimes , lots of birds. Groveland Groveland is a very nice small town , Its has very nice market for groceries , has eating places , if you want Pizza or Chinese food or just coffee . Has very nice bars for a small drink. Pine mountain lake has a restaurant called Grill in the country club as well and Grill is just 5 minutes drive from the cabin.

Our Vacation Rental is located in unit 2, in the beautiful, gated, resort community of Pine Mountain Lake (PML), Groveland, California 95321. We are 1/2 Hr. from Yosemite National Park. Enjoy both Pine Mountain Lake amenities + Yosemite! This is a single family home with approximately 1500 Sq Ft. Our home has 3 bedrooms, one bedroom has a King size bed, and the other with a queen size bed, the sun room/bedroom has a full bottom/twin top bunk bed, and a twin hide a bed. The sun room/bedroom can be closed off from the rest of the house. There is also a queen hide-a-bed in the living room, and a toddler bed available. The living room has a large screen TV, DVD player with lots of movies including kids titles, satellite, and WiFi, Central heat, A/C, and ceiling fans. We have a large and recently remodeled kitchen completely furnished with a table that sits 6, plus adjoining bar sits 2, child's high chair, dishes, utensils, pots and pans, coffee maker, dishwasher, gas oven/stove, refrigerator, toaster oven, and spices. We have a large laundry room with a washer and dryer. All linen is provided, sheets, towels, small blankets, as well as hand, dish and laundry soap. We also have a gas BBQ grill available, and the garage has been converted to a game room with ping pong table, darts, Air Hockey table, scooter, train table, and other toys for small children to enjoy. You will get all of this in a relaxing, comfortable, entertaining, quiet mountain setting with a seasonal creek at the back of the property. There is abundant opportunity for viewing wildlife, deer, wild turkeys, and migratory birds are common. You will also get to enjoy all of the amenities our Community of Pine Mountain lake (PML) offers to our guests, including access to Champion Golf Course and Driving range, walk-ins welcomed, but Tee times are suggested - summer hours are 6 am to 6 pm, our Swim Center season is from May to October, and hours for guests start at 12 noon and closure varies to 9 pm from May - August, for September to 7 pm, and in October to 5 pm (weather permitting). The PML pool is a family recreation Center with many different activities like ping pong, board games, cards, books, magazines, water toys, and more - all available from the pool attendants, swim lessons are available. We have the PML Equestrian center which offers a wrangler camp for kids ages 8-13 yrs Monday - Thursday & they also have private lessons, PML tennis and pickel ball courts, reservations can be made up to 7 days in advance but cannot be made on the day of play, PML archery and shooting range, PML has 4 beaches, Horse shoe pits, shoreline fishing, boat rentals, and water taxi to go between the beaches, and 3 hiking trails. Yosemite Adventure Supply is located in the same parking lot as Mar Val where you can rent bicycles, fishing gear, sports equipment, etc. There are various other stores that are fun to shop in downtown Groveland plus several small restaurants you can choose from. Bus to Yosemite - Beginning May 16th, a family of 4 can ride to and from Yosemite Valley for the same cost as a park pass. 9am departure from Mary Laveroni Park with a 4:30pm return. Use the Valley Shuttle to go anywhere in the Valley. Service continues through September 30th. _______ When entering Pine Mountain Lake gate you will pay $ 30.00 guest fee that entitles you to use all recreational facilities while you are our guest for 7 days. This is a one time fee, per car. If staying longer, you will need to pay an additional $ 30.00 for additional 7 days. Our home is clean and very well taken care of, please treat it as if it was yours. Please review the check out rules you will find when you arrive - should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call me. Wifi is available in our home; however, it is measured and metered and very expensive if an overage incurs, Wifi is limited to 1gb per day. Please do not stream music, movies or TV as this will put you over the daily limit. Please limit use to essentials like checking your email, and research the local area. We will provide toilet paper, paper towels, all linens which include linens for the beds, bath towels, wash cloths, hand towels, pillows, some blankets. We do not provide Beach towels, please bring your own. In the kitchen we will have coffee, filters, package sugar, coffee mate powder creamer, and spices.

Remodeled home. Very sunny, on a large lot with all amenities that you may ask for :) Only 2.5 hour drive from San Francisco, 26miles to Yosemite entrance and plenty to do within 10min around. Probably the best offer in the area! If you find a comparable home for less, please let me know :) The home is in Pine Mountain Lake community. If you do decide to go to the lake or pool, our HOA charges a one time $31/car fee to enter the gated community. Restaurant and golf course are accessible without the fee. Pool is seasonal and open dates vary. We rent the house when we don't use it ourselves. We equipped it with things that we use ourselves and like. You will find comfortable beds with nice foam mattresses and good pillows. The kitchen is perfect for a regular use, but you may find it to be too small to cook for a huge party. Living room has a wood burning stove and firewood is provided during allowed burn season. Home has central heat and a/c system. The house has a TV screen with HDMI input. You are welcome to bring your laptop or other source of video/movies. There's Wifi internet and Roku player that allows to steam content from netflix, youtube and other similar services. Summer time or when there are no rains there's a patio table with 6 chairs outside on the back deck. You are welcome to use propane grill as well. Verizon and AT&T phones will usually work for calls/text, but 4G is not always there. You are in a community with a golf course, seasonal heated swimming pool (seasonal), lake that gets really warm in summer, hiking trails near by, stables with horse rides and much more. I can advice on many possible day activities and places to go at different times of the year. Yosemite Park entrance is just 26miles away, but there are many other attractions in proximity. Historical Gold towns, multiple caves, Tuolumne river canyon, mountain lakes, white water rafting are just the first things that come to my mind. Upon request at an extra cost, I can arrange a power boat rental at Lake Don Pedro. ATV rentals is another potential option. Most of the time I'm will be staying nearby, or have someone else who and can be reached by phone, text or email if you have questions, need help with anything or if the house is missing something that you believe should be there :) The nearest store is 2miles way. Gas station about 6miles give or take. Cell phone reception is limited around the area and not all of the operators work. Verizon is best and it is still bad/ AT&T and Sprint are worse. T-Mobile is between much worse and non existent. Getting to the house is EASY, but if you have issues with navigating and are used to relying on your phone, it's time to get some off-line mapping software or a separate navigator that doesn't need cell service :). Also, as stated in description and to be 100% upfront there are a few small things that need didn't get finished at the house yet. You may see them, but most people will not. What you see in the pictures is what you get. Nothing major. Examples of "not finished" are: baseboard is not attached in a few places. Some surfaces may need a second coat of paint to be 100% visually perfect. That's about it. If you have questions, please ask.

In most cases, you won’t need to meet anyone and can spend your time with as much seclusion as you want. Pricing: We have a NO haggling policy. We believe it's the best way to be fair to everyone. We are aware that some other owners often inflate prices only to discount them. We don't do business that way! At our discretion, we may occasionally decline reservations that create one night gaps in our schedule and lost revenue. Unfortunately there is no way to currently designate these dates in the VRBO reservation app. We believe you cannot find other local housing as clean, comfortable and affordable as our condo! Do you understand or have questions about the service fee that VRBO instituted in early 2016? If so, please read the help text on the VRBO website. You cannot ask owners to waive this fee because if they do VRBO will suspend the owners ad. So please don't ask. This is our second and newest rental property at Pine Mountain Lake! We have taken several months to refurnish it and bring it up to the high standards of our original rental property which is VRBO#136125. It is a two floor condo overlooking the fifth fairway at Pine Mountain Lake Country Club. There are two bedrooms and two baths. Both bedrooms and both bathrooms are on the second floor. The master has a King. The second bedroom has a Queen. Downstairs there is a new high quality Queen sofa bed purchased through Costco. So the maximum number of guests allowed is six in a total of three beds. Our condo is an end unit with a total of five condos in the structure. All necessary amenities are provided such as: refrigerator-freezer, stove top, oven, microwave, pots & pans, dishes, utensils, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. However, we do NOT provide an outside BBQ with this unit. If you need a BBQ, we’d like to suggest you rent 136125, which has almost double the space. The living room features a brand new 55" flat screen TV with basic DirecTV service. There is a beautiful outside deck/patio with a table and four chairs overlooking the golf course. Our unit is also equipped with a washer and dryer. Please bring your own laundry detergent. We have our own designated parking spot, #11, right next to our front door. Please park only in this parking spot. There are also three guest spots shared between a total of five condos. Our front door has a new Schlage keyless lock for easy access for our guests. A minimum of FOUR days before your check in date, we email you a confidential access code to allow you access. There is a community swimming pool and 3 beaches which our guests may use at no extra cost. Other activities like golf, tennis and horseback riding are available at additional cost. Our condo is located within the private gated community known as (PMLA) the Pine Mountain Lake Association. As a renter you must agree to follow all rules stipulated by PMLA. You must enter only at the PML main gate off of Ferretti Road. PMLA charges renters $40 for each vehicle entering the community. One fee is good for up to a maximum of 8 days. These fees go towards maintaining our network of private roads and facilities. We ask for your understanding in this. Homeowners like ourselves also must pay such fees, but much larger ones. For 2020, our home owner’s fee for this unit is $2,504. Other area owners may not tell you about such fees in advance, but you will still be charged when entering our gated community. We have been in the vacation rental business for over a decade and have many satisfied return customers. We are not only owners, but VRBO/HomeAway customers as well! We have rented from them in faraway places like Venice, Rome, Bali and Cairns, Australia. If you have any questions about our property and/or the surrounding area, please do not hesitate to ask. Addendum to Cancellation Policy: In cases where CA state issues an evacuation order for Groveland, CA for any reason, 100% of all rental fees will be refunded. Wildfire Considerations: During 2018, we refunded 50% in rental fees due to the Ferguson Fire when the air quality in the local, Groveland area was considered borderline unhealthy. However, this policy does not apply to fires in further away places like the 1200 square miles of Yosemite National Park where the air quality in Groveland is not impacted or marginally impacted. During 2013, we refunded 100% in rental fees due to the Rim Fire which which was much closer to our Groveland home than 2018’s Ferguson Fire. We want to be fair to all guests, but all fires are not the same. As such, we reserve the right to assess a fire’s impact on the local area and compensate guests appropriately. We suggest travelers purchase travel insurance if they are concerned about fires during the peak fire season of roughly July 1 - October 15.

We also have Wifi Internet, 55" Smart TV's on both levels with Blu Ray, Direct TV, and our favorite part of this cabin is two BEAUTIFUL decks on both the top and bottom level with a view Above the Pines. We are about a 3 minute drive to the golf course (less than 1/2 mile) and 5 minute drive (about 1-2 miles) to the Main Lake area. There is parking for 4-5 vehicles in our driveway. There is a $31/per car fee charged at the gate for weekend parking; this includes lake, golf and restaurant parking. There are special XL garbage bags required for the community that cost $7.35; we provide the 1st one free.
